As I take my daily walk
My mind’s in cadence
With each step I take.
The night dreams
And thoughts at dawn
Those at the table
As I sit and have my cup
Then rise and take
The leash and call
My friend ~ yea ~ my pet.
Here we are now
Side by side ~ together
My thoughts wander
Even as I leave footprints
Along the sandy road.
So do I gather and savor
The footprints of
My mind to lead me
Through the day.

Just another day, no, no way,
Every day is different
That’s the plan and it will stay.
God made it so.
Man’s desires are to change it
My thoughts, are,
Let it stand. One may go too far.
Just to clear up any misunderstandings
I am not a prophet or the like.
The words and beliefs I’ve written here
Are my own. I wonder, what is to be my lot in life?
I take each day as I see it and try to live it
As I believe my God may have planned it
And left a path for me to follow
Along side my fellow man.
A winding road, with dips and hollows and
many crossroads offering no directions,
Ended at the beginning of the
Golden stairway to God’s Heaven and
I was home.
