Good Morning, my true and faultless friend.
The weather Guru predicts the opposite to you,
My eastern window. My faith is staunch,
I hold to my belief in you. You are ever true.
Sun shining through the trees and your window
Panes, belies the forecast of the weather man.
Your glass reflects the heat of the sun, welcomed
By writers such as me, early here to take a stand
Against cloudy skies and rain predicted by a Guru.
My faith is in a higher power who controls the
Stars, the moon, the sun and all there is to see.
Cannot we pray to Him, He who is eternity?
I turn again to my true and faultless friend,
Who stands always at my side. Please tell me why
I seem to straddle my eternal faith in you who gave
Me my Eastern Window to follow you. I’m lost I cry.
All in this, the great wide world is yours. I’ll strive
To keep it so, I’ll hold in my belief in you ever more.
My God, my father which art in Heaven, help me;
My faith is staunch, I will follow where e’er
You would have me go.
