Beneath a full moon thru evergreens
And starry lighted glass reflects.
A room where two people sit, each
With dreamy eyes seeking another.
The evening just near to dusk is
Warm and friendly, inviting
Companionship to those alone.
All around eyes are making contact.
The two first mentioned, closer now
There is a living spirit moving in.
Strangers of yesterday, seem as lovers;
The two of whom I speak, entwined.
It’s then, I realize, I am one of them.
Yes, we were a couple all along.
This night was meant for us to renew
The days of our courtship, not be alone.
This poem was made under a full moon
As our marriage was made in Heaven.
I wish the same for every Bride and Groom.
