Here on my mountain home, it’s a clear day,
not a whisper of a cloud as the early morning
sun casts down its rays to greet a new day.
Shining thru my most eastern window, ‘tis
magical as it throws a pattern of branches and
leaves onto my computer room floor. It seems
as tho it was painted there to welcome me and
dare me to show a more beautiful scene.
All of this I see from my computer window as I
absorb the heat from the sun, writing my words
in an attempt to describe, the God given world
and its bounties He provides. All this is free.
I write these words as I have done so before
but find it quite impossible to give justice
to its beauty for all to see.
When the snow of the winter covers the ground
and the picture I view makes me wonder, can
all be true? Did God paint this picture,
of snow capped peaks and trees laden
with heavy snow and ice,
just for you, just for me?
The answer is written, God gave it freely,
to one and to all to take care of and nurture
‘til all answer his call.
