‘Tis Saint Patrick’s dae naow, don’tcha know,
a dae for celebration with green beer or such.
What’s yer preference laddie – naow just wait
a bit, I’ll nae be drinkin’ coffee, no, nor will I tea.
A man’s a man fer al’ of that, come naow, it’s free.
This very dae I stopped in at the liquor store, just
ta look about you see, ther be lots o sales. O’ yes,
they wants yer money an’ gotcha by yer short hair
and, they know it too. Seven Star Brandy is
on sale at a price you never see. I am home
with two cases. ‘Tis time fer tha party to begin.
Fill up them glasses folks, don’t be shy, to the
brim, there be no harm. Drink it down. Fill her
up agin, this is a celebration for Saint Patrick.
Sure an’ ye hae ta do it rite. Green beers alright
fer poor folk but I feel rich tanite. Fill ’em up
agin gents an’ ladies too. Altogether naow,
drink ‘er down.
Sure an’ dinnae I hae me eyes upon ye.
Be that you, Bruce two? Come on naow,
yer drink be gittin’ stale, throw it up,
o’ nae I mean ta say,
fill ‘e up, fine boyo, drink ‘er down,
wait naow, where are ye runnin’ to?
O’ no, who be tha janitor?
This celebraton be slowin’ down.
Saint Patrick if ye be watchin’,
that I ms’ end this celebration on such
a sorry note. o’O’,
