The years come and go without end,
As time levies its toll by the days
And the hours, some seemingly slow
Or gone in a flash of light, ablaze.
Man’s life is controlled by time
From above, there is little doubt.
Just as the stars on high take
Flight, the life of man runs out.
Harken ye, who dally with time.
Life offers no guarantees of days
Or hours you’ll live to see the stars
Nor watch the sky with light ablaze.
The time is now to pick and choose
A life style you may wish to seek.
Follow it closely, stay on track
Don’t let your plan spring a leak.
Good luck my friend, whoever you
Be, I wish I had taken my advice.
But here I be, no train, I did not
Stay on track. Now I pay the price!
