At last I’ve found my treasure,
Not too far away from a stream
Where I can go at my leisure,
Lie down, just to sleep and dream.
To me, it’s a little bit of Heaven
There, to while away my time.
I’ll stay here, if I am given
Just a corner where I can dine.
I’m thru with those fancy places,
They are just a waste of time.
And I don’t have time to spare,
I’ll sit by that stream of mine.
There are some nightly dreams
As I lie there, of folks I have seen
Romping by my treasured stream.
I call them, my little Nether Folk.
They play in my woods all day.
I would be sorry to see them leave
It’s a joy to me with no bounds.
I’ll ask them to stay, you can believe.
