Through one’s life there are payments to be met
On things, let’s say, like this or that or whatever.
Usually there is a due date to be strictly followed.
If payment is not met on time, a fine may be levied.
All the rules are clear at the time of the borrowing,
The lender holds all the cards, the debtor, in doubt.
Once he signs on the line, everything is clear to the
Lender, he has done his homework and need not fear
The outcome of the transaction. For you, the debtor,
It’s not the same. There is a yoke around your neck
You don’t realize is there. God as the lender, holds
All the cards, makes the rules, but wait now ~ ~
You are a debtor and had bad fortune along the way.
Will He call for His payment due today or delay it For a bit and give you time to adjust your life to His?
God is good and kind and grants your plea for time,
The rules were bent by a forgiving God for a troubled
Man. Should you see a man in need, don’t pass him by.
Help him if you can. Stop and think ~ There, but for
The Grace of God, go I. Amen
