I am not a witch, I do not perform magical tricks.
I love a mystery. I have a very good friend in the spirit world who was also a good friend in
Life. She and I talked frequently of our
Individual thoughts on the subject and it was amazing how close
we were to agreement. My friend also loved mystery and I think
that life and what comes after are at the pinnacle of mystery.
The beginning of my writing, I think, may tend to bear this out
or maybe not.
My grandson and I were discussing the matter one evening. He
and I were talking of the Nether Folk, who are pretty close to
being spirits themselves. My grandson told me of an experience
he had just a few days before. He had been reading and chanced
to look up and saw three very old men sitting together very
Saying nothing, my grandson finally broke the silence by asking
them who they were. They said, in answer, they are very old,
older than he by many years. He looked at each in disbelief.
His doubt turned to surprise, because in the moment of his doubt,
the three oldsters had disappeared without a word or a sound.
Mysterious? Yes, but we will learn more in what follows~~soon.
I can sit by the hours turning over things in my mind, what’s
true, what is just a mystery, or,
What is in doubt. This has been true for ages tho you may be
doubtful or not. Everything changes with time. One sees and
experiences all that I’ve writ, but, what of the three oldsters, say,
I? Many years, many changes, some good or bad. Have their
lives been a succession of such?
And. What has been the effect on us
Things o’er and o’er? Their stories may bring us to more
thinking to do. Mystery, o’ mystery,
What is false? What is true? Will these three oldsters give us a
