Tuning up the brain. A thought came to me.
Stop right there sezs I to me, what’s a thought.
OK, It’s shaking up the mind a bit just to see
What modicum of smarts could there maybe be.
I was disappointed, all I could see was words.
I could not see what help they could possibly be.
But, wait now, maybe I’ll put them together
In my mind, just to see, what does develop.
What is this foolishness, be it all a dream, now
By all the saints, where did that word come up?
A feller then said to me, your dreaming, man,
Ye can’t put things together, just like you want.
Ha! Ha!, come now, I just did that very thing.
I took three words from a poem that I writ,
Now ye see, me laddie, look what I’ve got:
‘tis a FIVE stanza jingle from just three words.
Now, should ye take my first line frim stanza one
Thought, thin from stanza two, you got it WORDS
frim stanza three you’ve got, wake up man, ‘tis
DREAM plus three A’s – A thought, A word, A dream.
